"How much will my project cost?"

Well are you after a Ferrari or a Go-Cart?

The golden question that can be looked at in three ways

A: within your available budget.
B: depends how complex or simply your project is.
C: the number of man-hours needed to complete your project (evaluated through B).

Pricing a website project is for good reason not like buying a carton of Milk from two different stores. Our websites are not template driven, based on some generic theme or available in a pay monthly DIY format. They are unique to you!

No two web designers are the same, have the same breadth of experience, creative and or technical ability to realise and complete your project to the highest standards.

We are perfectionists at heart, it takes a lot of time and effort to create sites with the level of craftsmanship that we pride ourselves on, the higher your budget, the more man hours we can spend creating complex and snazzy features for your new site.

We will be honest and upfront with you if we think your budget is unrealistic for the scope of your project and will advise you on the best approach that will fit within what you can spend.

Big or small, we always put 110% effort into making sure the quality of the work we do for you is not compromised and is the best it can be.

"How long will it take to complete my project?"

This depends on a number of factors.

If you have a specific deadline long or short, we will try our hardest to meet it.

In all cases we will initially provide you with a timescale that we think is a realistic length of time to complete the work allowing for minor unforeseen delays and any testing that might be involved. We will also include a list of things we may require from you at some stage.

How frequently you're able to respond to our requests. Is everything we need from you (content, clarifications, response to emails, server information, meeting dates etc) provided correctly and in a timely fashion?

Generally speaking, the smoothest projects to turnaround are the ones which have the best of everything including Clarity with exactly what it is you're after and regular on going communication.

Any delays on our part such as technical issues will always be explained to you.

"What do you mean by 'affordable business websites?'"

In this industry the price for a website can vary wildly depending on whom you speak to, your geographical location and of course what you consider affordable.

We understand the issues related to starting a new business and therefore try our very best to provide quotations that are lower than the industry standard in and around the London UK area without compromising the quality of the work.

We are happy to work with you in drafting the best project plan based on your budget and offer affordable spread payments across all services.

Although a somewhat relative term, our reference to 'affordable' is based on research and comparison to other professional design agencies that would charge considerable more for the same level of service and specification for a given project

As a London based agency, it must be stressed that we do not compete with prices based on quotes gathered from companies or individuals based outside of the UK, students and recent graduates or part time freelance rates.

"Can you update my existing website?"

In most cases yes. If you have an existing website your already happy with but may have parted company with your existing web designer and require content, images etc to be updated, we can take over these responsibilities for you.

Provide a list of the changes you need to make and we'll provide a quote and timescale to make them.

We would also require full access to the web server that holds your website in order to make changes. For Flash websites we would need the original .FLV files used to create it along with any unique font files used.

"Is there a fee for ongoing maintenance of my new site?"

In most cases no. Unlike some agencies we do not vanish immediately after completing your new site. We are always on hand to help keep your site working and up to date. We can be called 9am till 5.30pm GMT Monday - Friday and we respond to emails regardless of the time or day of the week, including weekends.

Generally speaking, for any minor updates such as small text changes, swapping out an image, updating content on a single page there will be no fee as we really don't see the point. Larger changes that might globally alter a site such as adding entirely new pages, creating new features or amending the sites design will however incur a fee, which would be specified in a quote.

"Do you provide web hosting?"

No. However with all websites we create we do provide a list of good quality and reliable providers you can use and work with you in setting this up. It's easy!

"Can I update my website myself?"

If your website has been built to include a CMS (Content Management System) then yes you'll be able to access and change specific parts of your website content through an easy to use control panel.

This is our preferred suggestion for large websites that require constant attention. Our eCommerce websites and database driven solutions by default will have a CMS.
